The face behind the camera
Hey there, I’m Bella! 📸🌈
I’m a 25-year-old self-taught photographer from a small town in North Canterbury, New Zealand. My love for photography started young—so young that I was stealing my mum’s old film camera and even her chunky Nokia just to snap pictures of my pets and zoo trips! Fast forward to my 14th birthday, when I got my first DSLR Canon camera, and—well, let’s just say I never put it down.
In late 2017, I decided to take my passion more seriously, focusing on equine and portrait photography. I started offering free shoots to find my style and see if this was the thing for me. Spoiler alert: it totally was. Within months, I was photographing my first show, and before I knew it, I quit my day job to make photography my full-time career. Best. Decision. Ever.
Now, I travel all over New Zealand capturing everything from portraits and couples to weddings, commercial work, and, of course, equestrian events. I believe photography should feel fun, natural, and authentically you—which is why I proudly offer a safe, inclusive space for everyone, especially my fellow queer community. 🌈💖
